National Products Association (NPA)

Founded in 1936, represents the interests of manufacturers and retailers of a wide variety of natural products including organic and health foods, natural ingredient cosmetics, sports nutrition products and vitamins, herbs and other dietary supplements.

Dietary Supplement Education Alliance (DSEA)

An ambitious partnership created as a way for the dietary supplements industry to ensure that the intent of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) is met: by providing meaningful information about the health benefits and responsible use of dietary supplements.

Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA)

A non-profit federally chartered trade association. Its members include retailers, wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers in a variety of industry sub sectors such as supplements, vitamins, herbals, homeopathics, sports and nutrition supplements, packaged foods and organic foods. CHFA members believe that access to natural health foods and nutritional supplements is the democratic right of every Canadian. To that end, they are committed to protecting and furthering the interests of the Canadian health products industry.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN)

Founded in 1973, is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing ingredient suppliers and manufacturers in the dietary supplement industry. CRN members adhere to a strong code of ethics, comply with dosage limits and manufacture dietary supplements to high quality standards under good manufacturing practices. CRN's mission is to enhance and sustain a climate for our member companies to responsibly market dietary supplements and their ingredients by maintaining and improving confidence among consumers, media, government leaders, regulators, healthcare professionals and other decision makers with respect to our members’ products.
